  • FSIS Administrator Paul Kiecker shared agency updates at the Northwest Meat Processors Association’s convention last week, including our work to reduce foodborne Salmonella illness attributable to poultry products, the voluntary Product of USA label final rule and our efforts to substantiate animal raising claims. Later, Administrator Kiecker participated in a session to discuss requirements for federal inspection and answer questions from establishments new to the process and those who may be applying for federal inspection.
