Mission Statement
The Protocol Workgroup supports the Policy Committee by developing, reviewing, and updating protocols of the Seafood HACCP Alliance.
Workgroup Responsibilities & Duties
The Protocol Workgroup is responsible for reviewing/updating Seafood HACCP Alliance protocols and, when necessary, reviewing Seafood HACCP Alliance Course Applications.
Workgroup Size Limitations (or other requirements)
- There should be no more than 5 members of the SHA EB and SHA staff.
- No more than 2 ad hoc members may be used for Course Application reviews when needed.
Workgroup Level of Commitment
- The Protocol Workgroup will meet intermittently to conduct its work.
- At a minimum, 2 virtual meetings will take place per year to assist with workgroup reporting to the SHA Executive Board.
Workgroup Term Limits
There are no term limits for this group.
Workgroup Meeting Frequency
There is a minimum of 2 meetings per year needed for protocol work; intermittent meetings as necessary for Course Application Reviews.
Workgroup Minutes
It’s preferred to have AFDO/SHA staff support, but the Workgroup Lead will take this on as necessary.
