NANCY SINGER RECEIVES THE ASSOCIATION OF FOOD & DRUG OFFICIALS (AFDO) ASSOCIATE MEMBER AWARD
International Honor for Exemplary Success and Leadership in Food Safety 

Denver, Colorado – July 16, 2014 – Nancy Singer was awarded the Associate Member Award at the 118th AFDO Annual Educational Conference on Tuesday, June 24, 2014.

The Associate Member Award is to be awarded to an Associate Member. Qualification for this award is based upon long-term active membership in the Association, active involvement in committee work, development of model codes and demonstrated promotion of the objectives of the Association. This award is presented each year at the Annual Educational Conference.

Nancy Singer founded Compliance-Alliance LLC to specialize in the professional development for industry and government employed in the drug and medical device industries. She previously served as AdvaMed’s Special Counsel for FDA compliance and enforcement matters. Nancy began her career as an attorney with the United States Department of Justice where she did litigation for the Food and Drug Administration. Subsequently she was a partner at the law firm of Kleinfeld, Kaplan and Becker. Nancy received her B.S. from Cornell University, and J.D. and LL.M. degrees from New York University Law School. During her career, she taught food and drug law at Catholic University Law School, George Washington University Law School and compliance symposia at Harvard University. She chaired the Food and Drug Law Section of the Federal Bar Association and retired as a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve.
