Resolution Number 4:
Utilization of CASA's Website
Whereas, education and information exchange are key tools in seeking to achieve several of CASA's objectives, such as:
- promoting and fostering uniformity of laws affecting foods, drugs, cosmetics and devices;
- assist members in their technical work and development;
- encourage and promote improved communications between and among consumer, enforcement, and related producer and industry groups; and
Whereas, many of the presentations made at the annual conferences, CASA sponsored seminars, and local conference meetings contain information valuable to our members and to industry groups we regulate, and
Whereas, a system is needed to make such presentations more available to all who are interested and could benefit from them, therefore be it
Whereas, that CASA has explored the feasibility of regularly posting pertinent abstracts, summaries, and presentations on the CASA website and, if practical, inform the membership of the procedure to follow to submit material, and be it further
Resolved, that AFDO will evaluate and consider developing a similar system of information dissemination.
