AFDO Committees...The Backbone of AFDO
For over 100 years, AFDO has worked through its' committee structure to formulate and develop guidance material, model codes, and to provide comments to federal agencies on public health matters. Through the active involvement of its membership in these committees, a vast network exists for the communication of issues, policies and best practices…the resources needed to succeed in today’s ever-changing environment.
Members are invited to participate fully in the research and deliberations of all committees. Each committee receives annual charges and prepares formal reports of its activities each year at the Annual Educational Conference.
Committee Charges: Current committee charges can be found by visiting the Committee Charges folder in the Member Portal's Document Manager.
Here is how to access the committee charges:
- Login to the AFDO website from the AFDO homepage (www.afdo.org)
- Click Documents (located in the horizontal navigation bar)
- Click My Documents from the drop-down list
- Click Public (located under Folders)
- Click Committee Charges (located under Public Access Folders)
