International Food Protection Training Institute (IFPTI)
The International Food Protection Training Institute (IFPTI) was founded in 2009 with seed funding from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The IFPTI aims to improve and further integrate the food protection system by addressing the unmet educational needs of food safety professionals. During the IFPTI start-up phase, AFDO, with the assistance of a multi-organization Advisory Council, is responsible for developing the Institute’s governance and operations.
