AFDO Position Statements
Position statements articulate AFDO’s position and rationale about the content, focus, and/or direction of pivotal policies, issues, or legislation. Position statements address issues that may have a significant public health or consumer protection impact that extends beyond a specific action and is therefore not time bounded. An AFDO position statement remains the association’s position until it is modified or rescinded.
